Amazing experience!

We were a group of 6 that took the coffee tour and workshop on Wednesday July 16,2025 and we all just loved it!!! I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the island.
Alberto is amazing and I learned so much in his workshop. We also got to tour the farm and it was a great experience. The property itself is beautiful.

My only regret is not buying more of the chocolates they make. They are so good!

You made us into coffee snobs! lol

We had a wonderful experience touring the family farm and learning the "How To's" and nuances of what makes the perfectly delicious cup of coffee from the owner, Alberto. He made it feel more like we were visiting a long lost cousin. It was raining but we had a great time and learned so much. A true family operation and a must do while on the island. Even the trip getting there was a neat experience. We left with great memories and A LOT of coffee beans. (I'm glad I can mail order beans) We were in PR for work for El Yunque. Glad we made the time and will return to visit cousin Alberto on our return visit to PR. Thanks for opening your home and farm. Dale & Pia (Happy retirement)

Thank you cousin Dale & Pia for a wonderful review! It was great spending time with you both and it's always my joy to share our family farm and passion for coffee. Thank you!

Wonderful tour and experience

My partner and I had a wonderful time touring the farm, learning about coffee, and getting to roast our own beans!

Kelly, thank you for a fantastic review!

A must for coffee lovers - exceeded our expectations!

Alberto was the best host for this amazing experience since day one, when I contacted him via email inquiring about the tour schedule for the month of July. I literally received his response in a couple of minutes when he helped me with the booking process.  A month later, we finally visited Hacienda Prosperidad.  We were greeted with a delicious cup of coffee, puertorican "quesitos," and other appetizers! Alberto is the best tour guide and teacher. He took his time to thoroughly explain the whole coffee production process, from seed to cup, with no rush whatsoever.  We had the opportunity to walk through the coffee farm, get some coffee beans directly from the plants, and taste the sweet pulp we had just learned it's in them.  Last but not least, back at the main building, Alberto resumed his presentation covering the drying and toasting processes, and we were able to toast, grind, and brew our own coffee samples.  You don't learn all this with a YouTube video! This is a multisensory experience not available anywhere else but at Hacienda Prosperidad.  Be sure to add this experience to your next staycation if you're a local or to your next trip to PR.

Thank you so much Germaine and Carlos for a fantastic review! It was great meeting you both and to share my passion and knowledge for coffee. Very much appreciated! Thank you!

Best tour ever!!

This far exceeded my expectations. We were greeted very warmly with a charcuterie board and offer of a latte or espresso, and enjoyed that on the patio with a beautiful view of the farm. The owner shared his history and the history of coffee (which is typically my least favorite subject but he kept it interesting). We then were given a lovely walking tour of the property, to include showing us the machinery and process. We went back to the coffee shop and he taught us more about the roasting and brewing process, and then we got to do it ourselves! It was very immersive, I never felt rushed, and it was such a quality tour. Additionally, the coffee itself was the best I've ever had! I will be subscribed once I finish my current stock! I plan to go back next time we visit the island. Highly recommend this tour!!

Heather thank you so much for a wonderful review! It's my joy to share our family farm and passion for coffee with people like you. Yes, please visit us again next time you are in PR, you can even stay at our farm. Thank you!
