Coffee Tour and Workshop - From Seed to Cup - The Experience

During this Workshop you will have the opportunity to:
- Tour the coffee plantation grounds.
- We will discuss all the details of how coffee gets from a seed to a productive adult coffee tree.
- We will explain the coffee harvest.
- You will be able to walk the grounds and appreciate the trees up close.
- See the process and machinery used to process coffee, wet processing.
- And finally drying process.
2. You will roast your own coffee.
- We will provide the green coffee and micro roasters and guide you in the roasting process.
- In this way you not only learn but you are the "Roast Master" of your own coffee sample.
- You will experience the changes in colors, sounds and aromas that this extraordinary seed gives us during this process.
3. Participants will grind their own freshly roasted coffee.
- You will be able to experience the aromas of freshly ground coffee.
4. Participants will brew their coffee using the V60 method.
V60 is a very precise pouring method where you can taste your freshly roasted coffee.
This is a unique sensory experience in the world. You will never look at coffee the same way. Reserve your spot today! Limited spaces! Workshop limited to only 8 people per session. We provide all the equipment to roast and brew the coffee.
Not recommended for children under 12 years old. Hot glass and hot water will be handled by the participant during roasting and pouring. Children under 12 are welcome and free of charge but can not do the roasting and pouring.

Starting your day with a good cup of coffee is a must. Starting your day with Hacienda Prosperidad coffee is a blessing. If you’re in the area take advantage of this tour, if you’re not, it’s worth the scenic drive. The tour was informative, fun but also lovely to see the passion the owners Alberto Jose and Marjorie have for coffee and Puerto Rico. We did the tour with our teenage daughter, it’s so beautiful, she wanted to stay. Thank you Hacienda Prosperidad for the experience!
We were a group of 8 person and we all enjoyed the tour a lot. First we visited the coffee plantation which was beautiful and it had many other tree species such as oranges. After the walk we heard about the history and some interesting facts of coffee than came the practical part where we could make our own roasted coffee. The tour was interesting and feels special also because the owner of the hacienda guides it.Highly recommended!
We learned so much during our time on this tour. Highly recommended if you are interested in how coffee is grown, processed and brewed.

Excelente servicio y lugar. El workshop es algo que no lo van a encontrar en mas ningun lugar. La historia y el conocimiento sobre el cafe y el proceso por el cual te llecan es algo brutal. 100% recomendado!!
